Orange is the new Black | Wedding Reception in Fairfield County, CT
/ADE is finally getting around to blogging about a few of our past and recent weddings! Yes, these are weddings from last year and the 2014 season! This year has been an awesome kicker, jumpstarting us into 2015 with an even more exciting and clear picture of our bright future! This year continues to be full of events with repeat clients (friends), great new clients and creative events that are out of the norm! We are looking forward to a bit of R & R in October, before the winter weddings arrive in November and before holiday events arrive! If you back track on the blog, you will see we are slowly filling in past calendar dates with more pictures. Please be patience; clients come first! ;) This stunning wedding was designed with the following in mind: unexpected, simple, clean and warm. I think we hit it out of the park, choosing only three varietals of orange orchids for the reception; mokara, vandal and cymbidium. The ceremony structure was rustic with a branchy look, complimented for elegance with white cherry blossoms throughout. The cocktail space was flanked with an abundance of thick bunches of white cherry blossom branches and conversation pieces created with white cymbidium and phalaenopisis orchids. Needless to say, the bride's favorite flowers are orchids and calla lilies, which she held for her bridal bouquet.
Thank you for making our vision come to life Forever in Bloom. Thank you Lilian Haidar Photography for your stunning photos! Thank you Abigail Kirsch catering for your assistance and flexibility throughout the planning process. Thank you to Michelle and Cake Suite for a gorgeous simple and sophisticated cake that matched our decor perfectly! Thank you to the Hank Lane's Marcus Reid Band for being all round awesome. Paper goods by both Sugar Paper LA which I love because they seem to love gold foil as much as I do and for Bella Figura for their perfectly modern and simple grey letterpress ceremony programs, welcome bag inserts and menus. Bridal gown by one of our favorite Bridal Salons in New York City, Mark Ingram Atelier. Sweet nibbles by another favorite, macaroons by Laduree. Last but not least, thank you to the awesome loving couple that has allowed us to use their photography! To respect client's privacy, we have elected to post minimal photos and only one of the happy couple. Enjoy!
