/Happy to be sharing more info about the venues we love in the Berkshires! What makes a venue a 'loved’ venue? A few things….
For ONE I need great food matched with a great overall hospitality experience; the food, the service, the atmosphere and the good people that watch over the place.
SECONDLY, I need to swoon over the decor and the comfortable luxuriousness of a dream bedroom and bathroom. I mean, if you are away from home your bedroom and bathroom (and bathtub) must surely reach dream status.
THIRDLY there has to be an indoor outdoor space and a covered outdoor space in the event of rain!
WHEATLEIGH This venue struck me immediately as the kind of place our clients and ourselves would love to visit for a day, a week or a year! Curb and foyer appeal are only trumpeted by beautiful gardens, spacious thoughtfully designed overnight rooms and an elegant dining room. The last meal we enjoyed at the Wheatleigh was stellar and would meet the expectations of a true foodie. Tell Marc we sent you!

GEDNEY FARM There is no other rustic wedding venue or barn wedding venue that compares to the comforts and cuisine of Gedney Farm. "Rustic" weddings are trendy and this trend is not going away. When I hear the term 'rustic' to describe a wedding, it can mean many things; dusty, rouging it, difficult, charming, casual, country-like, nature themed a bit, DIY inspired, supposedly easy to plan, cheaper supposedly, so on and so forth....But a rustic wedding can be refined, classy, sharp, smart and far from a 'roughing it' experience for your guests. No one wants their guests having to be reminded to bring allergy pills or heavy duty rain boots in the event of inclement weather. Futhermore, no one wants their wedding venue, however great their mass transportation plans, truly out in the middle of nowhere.
Gedney farm is the perfect place for discerning clients that perhaps have parents chiming in on the wedding venue too. Parents especially want to know the guest experience is hospitable for people of all walks of life and ages. Additionally, in the event of rain, this venue has the space for an indoor ceremony. The overnight rooms are artfully furnished and a few steps away from the wedding venue. Gedney Farm can for them bill.

STONOVER FARM This is another Barn and Farm-like wedding venue in the Berkshires that will exceed expectations and happily delight the parents reluctant to book a barn wedding. This property has gorgeous overnight rooms, updated furnishings and decor that sets the tone for your upscale, refined, charming barn wedding in the Berkshires. You will swoon at the landscape, the facades of the buildings and venue, and its sweeping interior. I relish the idea of designing inside this barn! A must visit!

THE KEMBLE INN The adorable, updated, contemporary, intimate Kemble Inn is the perfect site for a not too large wedding in the Berkshires. Like all of the venues above, it hosts overnight guests in luxurious rooms! Their restaurant and catering is noteworthy as well. Right inside Lenox, MA it is also one of the more convenient venues. Additionally, across the street there is beautiful church for those that are looking for other ceremony options. Don't you just love this decor in he below pictures!
