For those of you not as familiar, Staatsburg is in the Rhinebeck region, with views in many places of both the Catskill Mountains and the Hudson Valley River. There are two impeccable venues in this region, both with exquisite aesthetic, customer service and cuisine refined enough for the Manhattan foodie.

Welcome Locusts on Hudson. Locusts on Hudson was purchased in 2004 by Andre Balazs as a private residence. Since then he has restored this heralded neo-baroque mansion to emulate his stellar discerning modern taste, while not detracting from its historical significance. Just as all of his properties, The Locusts on Hudson is incomparable.
The property is 76 acres and sits on over 1,000 acres of untouched parkland. There are 12 guest rooms in the main house and additional cottages perfect for a couple to find privacy. You may also enjoy a beautiful large scale pool with views of the mountains and their own private beach, tennis court, basketball court and hiking trails. All perfect for a weekend getaway for you and your guests.

Another beautiful event and wedding venue is the Belvedere Mansion. This property really is a sanctuary with no phones nor televisions in the guestrooms. You can relax while the staff takes care of everything for you. There is Wi-Fi throughout the property and a large flat screen in the communal room. This is a very exclusive property - there is a reason you cannot find too many pictures on-line. You must pay them a visit as soon as you can!
The culinary team is the acclaimed group in the Rhinebeck region, owning three of the areas most popular restaurants; Arielle Bistro and Liberty. The Bevedere Mansion is a venue and weekend getaway not to be missed!
