The time has come for the wedding industry to reflect reality; people from all walks of life get married!
Hello and welcome reality! We now have same sex marriages! Sometimes men marry men and sometimes woman marry woman. No longer are the days when a woman must marry a man to be saved and men must marry a woman to be fed!
Relationships are more balanced, truthful and fulfilling. What I guess I am really getting at here is that pink and prettily or roses and ruffles do not speak to us all, even those woman that are most feminine.
Opps! There I go again, kind of off track on the blog. PSss – I’m aware of it.
In the days leading up to their Engagement soiree, these two Groomsmen and I played around with some wedding day ideas along with our friends at the Old Field Club in East Setauket, Long Island, New York. All printed materials are designed by Foosie Design, the men’s tuxes were provided by Beltrami LTD. in Huntington Village, NY, and photography is by Bruce Plotkin.
Ultimately they may choose their overall design to be simple and clean, with light blues, crisp whites, and splashes of dark red and mirrored elements.
Or they may turn their visions to more closely resemble the table scape shown here.
This couple shares a love of traveling, in particular anywhere there are beautiful animals. They also will be getting married in the winter of 2013, so a little tad of winter wonderland is in order.
